HR Alternative Consulting, Inc. is a consulting company focused on providing customized HR services for organizations and schools. Services range from start-up to maintenance to in-depth analyses of the function and structure of human resources. Areas are identified that need to be developed, strengthened or improved, and then HR Alternative Consulting can customize, devise and implement the newly structured programs specifically to the organization’s needs. |
Services also available include HR mentoring, on-call, on-site consulting and serve as your outsourced Human Resource Department, for small to medium size organizations and schools.
About the President/Founder
Ann Fisher is the President and Founder of HR Alternative Consulting, Inc. The company is WBE Certified with the City of Indianapolis and the State of Indiana.
With more than 20 plus years of hands-on human resource experience, a Masters Degree, and ten years within the Fortune 500 arena, Ms. Fisher understands the demands and time it takes to maintain a healthy and happy work force.
Previously, as Vice President of Organizational Development for five privately owned hospitals, Ms. Fisher managed every aspect of the staffing and recruitment functions supporting 550 employees throughout the United States. This consisted of salary surveys in four states, recruitment and retention issues, including cost reduction and employee relations.
Ms. Fisher currently serves on the Board of the National Association of Women Business Owners (Indianapolis Chapter) and Mitsch Design. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management. She contributes HR articles and information to local publications, speaks at various luncheons and presents training classes to organizations and schools on numerous topics, such as EEOC compliance, interview techniques and various human resource issues.
Ms. Fisher has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington in Psychology and a master’s degree from Purdue University in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
